Direct-fire order against a hostile contact. Arm ENGAGE (E) or right-click a red contact. Range and line of sight still matter; this is not artillery.
Stay put and prepare. Dig-in takes about two minutes; once prepared, the unit takes half the incoming fire. DIG IN on the palette bridges to the same Hold/Defend path when the unit can dig in.
Clear the selected unit's queued orders. Issued as a logged Abort command so replay can reconstruct the cut. Distinct from Hold — Abort means stop and do nothing.
Order of battle: the side's unit tree. Formations own subordinates; an order to a formation decomposes one echelon per step. Select from the map or the ORBAT list.
